A: I lived in Los Angeles when I was in college when I started writing Caught by Demons. At the time I only had time to write from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday nights and used my writing as an opportunity to vent my frustrations from living in the city. I also find that many of my experienced I had while living abroad influence the series. Originally, I did not intend to publish the series, it was just something I did for fun since I couldn’t afford to constantly buy new books. After college, I had a difficult time finding work and decided to focus on a career in writing, so I finished writing Caught by Demons started looking at publishing options.
